Allegro X AI is never trained on customer data or designs. Cadence uses its own library of designs along with 30+ years of PCB design expertise to train Allegro X AI. Your IP is safe.
Runs vary from minutes to hours based on design complexity — but always orders of magnitude faster than manual methods. Multiple runs can execute in parallel.
Currently the AI engine runs on secure Amazon Web Services infrastructure with data protection at all times. An on-premise solution is coming soon.
Currently X AI supports designs with up to 5,000 components, and does not yet support flex / rigid-flex. The supported envelope is constantly expanding.
X AI runs inside Allegro X or OrCAD X — but design importers let you bring in projects from Altium, KiCAD, Eagle, PADS, etc., then run X AI on them.
Symphony Team Design is the recommended add-on for concurrent multi-designer routing in real time. Ad-hoc mode means no upfront setup; structured server-hosted mode is also supported.
