Historically, large systems were analyzed at the subsystem level with full-system results coming from prototypes. Clarity 3D Transient was designed from the ground up to take advantage of multicore compute by parallelizing the mathematical work required to solve for 3D structures.

Tasks parallelize within one machine's cores or across many — cutting time to solve for complex structures by 10X or more. The time required scales nearly linearly: double the cores, double the throughput.
